"Réussir, c'est chic!" means that it's cool to succeed. And this little clip is a success story of collaboration between parents, teacher and direction, thanks to the arts.
Do you think these Grade 2 kids from Toronto's French school La Mosaique at the Beach will forget their experience any time soon?
They got this song written by Grade 6 students from l'École de l'Arc-en-Ciel (in Québec), learned to sing it, performed a choreography and took part in a video shooting, working with their teacher Vicki So and Simon Madore, a professional director also one of the school's parents volunteering his time. And now, the result is on YouTube, for us to enjoy.
Great French sing-along for kids in immersion
Jocelyne Auger, the principal, shared the lyrics with us. We're passing them on to parents and teachers involved in French immersion programmes.
